Dan Jacobs has been playing the drums for 13 years – he has performed hundreds of shows and practices his craft whenever he can.

He has written a drum educational book which sold out all over the world and also worked as a columnist for a major drum magazine for 4 years.

After graduating a drum academy in London in 2001, passing every exam, Dan has been teaching ever since in schools and privately from his studio in Ipswich - Suffolk.

Competent in all styles and techniques used by world class professional drummers – Dan is currently working on a solo album of funky, blues and latin songs which he will be touring in the near future.

I have been playing the drums for around 29 years and played in several bands. I set up Rose Drum School in 2004 and now teach over 100 pupils a week both privately at my studio and in numerous local schools.

I teach drum kit playing in all styles from complete beginers up to Grade 8 and use the Rockschool exams in which I have a distinction at Grade 8. I am a member of the Vic Firth Private Drum Tutors Programme, the Hudson Music Teachers Integration Program and the Professional Drum Teachers Guild.
