Dan Jacobs

Dan Jacobs has been playing the drums for 15 years – he has performed hundreds of shows and practices his craft whenever he can.

He has written two drum educational books which sell all over the world and also worked as a columnist for a major drum magazine for 4 years. He also has five DVD's produced full of drum lessons for people to learn in the comfort of their own homes.

After graduating a drum academy in London in 2001, passing every exam, Dan has been

teaching ever since in schools and privately from his studio in Ipswich - Suffolk.

Competent in all styles and techniques used by world class professional drummers.

 

Duncan Rose

I have been playing the drums for around 29 years and played in several bands. I set up Rose Drum School in 2004 and now teach over 100 pupils a week both privately at my studio and in numerous local schools.

I teach drum kit playing in all styles from complete beginers up to Grade 8 and use the Rockschool exams in which I have a distinction at Grade 8. I am a member of the Vic Firth Private Drum Tutors Programme, the Hudson Music Teachers Integration Program and the Professional Drum Teachers Guild.

 

Glen Buck

Glen Buck has been playing the drums for 18 years. He has played with many bands over the years in France, Jersey and Holland. Bands Glen has played for Sad at the Clinic. Stiff in the Morning. Thesound. The Front. Sock? She. Julian Shome. Bird. Michelle Stephenson Band. Sugarush. Led Zep Too. Airbus. Nexus. Dizzi Yak. Backtrackin’. Sevrenth. Pistol.

Recorded E.P. for Julian Shome, at BBC Maida Vale Studio in 2001. Played showcases for Atlantic in 2005. Played in Drumtech Student Band for 2001 open day.

 

 

Andy Burlace

Andy started playing music at the age of 9, and was regularly guesting with Robbie Gladwell (Steve Harley, Suzi Quatro) by age 11, playing guitar. By 13, He was gigging in his own right around the Ipswich music scene, playing guitar, bass and drums. At 16, Andy attended the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, and completed a Higher Diploma in Contemporary Music with Merit.

Since Completing this, he has played many sessions and live gigs on drums, bass and guitar with a variety of bands and musicians including Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Mark Richardson (Feeder) Ace (Skunk Anansie) Pete Friezen (Alice Cooper) and Gregg Wright (Michael Jackson) to name a few.
