|
In this drum lesson we are playing a five note sticking through four sub-divisions - eighth note triplets, sixteenth notes, sixteenth note triplets and 32nd notes. We are playing between snare drum, first tom, second tom and floor tom.
We are not using the bass drum when playing these fills but we are keeping the hi hats on the quarter note throughout the blues and funk grooves and our five note sticking fills. We are playing each groove three times and our drum fills in bar four.
