|
In this drum lesson we are playing a sixteenth note unison exercise. Playing double strokes as our rudiment on the snare drum and always keeping the hi hat on the quarter note. We are changing the bass drum in each exercise to play in unison with the snare drum on a single sixteenth note or on two sixteenth notes.
When comfortable with this exercise try to add accents to the double strokes while keeping the sixteenth notes even - using moeller technique and stroke technique to achieve the best possible fluidity and dynamics.
