In this drum lesson we are playing four 2 bar phrases, a drum groove followed by a drum fill, our grooves all have double stroke 32nd note ghost notes on the last sixteenth note of beat 4. We are playing on the ride cymbal and keeping the hi hats on the quarter note.
Our fill each time is a rudiment called a seven stroke roll and we are playing this around the drum kit through four sub-divisions.
