In this drum lesson we are playing a rudiment called double strokes through sixteenth notes playing on the snare drum. Aiming for an even flow of notes and playing the hi hat with the foot on the quarter note.
When playing this rudiment we need to accent various notes, accenting the second note of each double stroke will help gain definition when played around the drum kit. We need to play the double stroke using a single motion and using rebound.
