Bass Drum Technique - Lesson 14

In this drum lesson we are looking at bass drum technique. drummers use different bass drum techniques depending on what they are playing and the speed and/or dynamics of what they have to play.

There are various bass drum techniques such as heel down (often used for quiet notes -feathering the bass drum), heel up, foot leg technique, leg foot technique or slide technique.

All drummers are different so we need to practice drumming with various bass drum techniques until we find the techniques that work best for us.
